We designed the opening animated video for MozCon 2024, the flagship conference held annually by Moz, which is famous for its SEO software.
MozCon gathers SEO professionals, marketers, and industry leaders to talk about the latest trends and novelties in Search Engine Optimization.
For this year’s event, we crafted a mixed-media 2D animation that pays homage to Stanley Kubrick’s iconic film, “2001: A Space Odyssey.”
In our animation, we reimagined the film’s ape protagonists as a band of prehistoric SEO specialists. But instead of a mysterious monolith sparking their evolution, it was the discovery of Moz, symbolizing the future of search.
It was a fun animated project that allowed us to celebrate both the legacy of Kubrick’s film and Moz’s impact on the SEO world. The result is a visually striking and theme-packed animated introduction that will resonate with the audience at MozCon, echoing the power of state-of-the-art SEO tools and knowledge.
